ABV: 5.4%
IBU: 28
SRM: 15

Inspired by the northern brewing tradition of flavoring beer with juniper boughs, we created Odin’s Gift, a deep ruby colored ale brewed with a touch of juniper berries.   Rich caramel and roasted malt flavors compliment earthy hop aroma to produce a beer that easily pairs with a variety of foods.

Freya’s Gold Kölsch

Malt: Pale, Vienna, Wheat
Hops: Bravo, Goldings
ABV: 4.5%
IBU: 18
SRM: 3

Availability: Year Round in draft

Like the traditional kölsch beers of Cologne, Germany, Freya’s Gold is clean, crisp and refreshing.  Delicate lemony hop flavors compliment the smooth body of our most quaffable beer.  Just like its namesake, Freya’s Gold has a wealth of suitors.

Asgard IPA

ABV: 6.5%
IBU: 65
SRM: 6
Availability: Year round in draft and six-packs (starting May 2015)

Straight from the home of the gods.  Asgard IPA is a hop explosion in a glass.  Brewed with lightly kilned malts for a clean body that supports prodigious hop additions and in-tank dry hopping.  Grapefruit, orange and apricot flavors dominate the aroma of this truly northwest IPA.  Raise your pint, toast your enemies and prepare yourself for an olfactory assault.

Equinox Belgian Strong Ale

Malt: Pale, CaraMunich, Pale Chocolate and Dark Candi Sugar
Hops: Nugget, Styrian Goldings
ABV: 9.0%
IBU: 20
SRM: 14
Availability: Year round in draft and 22oz bottles

Hints of rum, dates and figs compliment the fruity esters in this strong Belgian style ale.  Locally made dark candi syrup helps keep the body surprisingly light in this big beer worthy of rumination.

Abbey Single Belgian Table Beer

Malt: Pilsner, Wheat
Hops: Nugget, Willamette, US Goldings
ABV: 5%
IBU: 20
SRM: 3

Availability: At the Odin Tap Room, Uneeda Burger, Quinn’s and Zoe’s

The recipe may be simple, but our Belgian table beer is anything but.  Delicate hints of spice mingle with banana and fruit esters to round out this subtle, yet complex beer.  With its refined body and lower alcohol, our table beer makes a great aperitif but can also be enjoyed with lighter fare.

Sunstone Tripel
Malts: Pale Malt
Hops: Bravo, Goldings
7.9%alc./vol. – 15IBUs -SRM 4
Available on draft and in 22oz bottles

The Viking’s sunstone was a calcite crystal used to help locate the sun even in the cloudy northern seas. Artfully crafted and deviously strong, Sunstone Tripel effervesces with white peach, tangerine and clove flavors and is a worthy reward for any storm-drenched Viking’s homecoming. The central image on the label is of the runic compass Vegvísir. A piece of Icelandic Spar -a sunstone- may have been placed at the center of the compass to aid in solar navigation.

Pairs well with:
Brussels sprouts, margherita pizza, prosciutto, mussels and frites

Nitro Porter 4.8%alc./vol.
The eponymously named porter is a smooth, dark, drinkable beer first popularized in the 18th century by the porters of London. These beers are deep and complex in appearance and flavor and may intimidate the uninitiated. But, much like their namesake, the foreboding façade gives way to an underlying sweetness and approachability that makes it a welcome companion.

Limited Releases:

Periodically we brew up special beers for limited distribution.  These beers are available at our tap room and select accounts while supplies last.

Winter Warmer (Winter Ale) – 6.8%alc./vol – When there are less than 8 hours of daylight and it has rained for the last 35 days in a row, you know it is the season for winter ales.  Unique British malts and yeast yield a sweeter beer with pleasant fruity flavors and a classic English smooth-caramel body.  Northwest hops add a crisp orange-pine aroma that hints at holiday spice.

Wildeornes #2 Saison-Brett – 7.9%alc./vol – Inspired by traditional farmhouse ales of Alsace and aged in chardonnay barrels with Brettanomyces bruxellensis, the second edition of our wild and barrel-aged program is light in body with vinous flavors and a tart finish that is sure to satiate the thirst of even the most discerning farmhand.

Wildeornes #3 Bourbon Bruin -11%alc./vol. – The Wildeornes is the place of self-willed beasts – a realm without laws or oversight by the gods.  This beer was made in the spirit of the Wildeornes and in the exploratory nature of the Vikings.  Melding tradition with radical new flavors, Wildeornes #3 is a dark brooding winter companion.  Long maturation of our Belgian strong ale in bourbon barrels and a secondary fermentation with wild yeast produces fruit flavors of fig, date, prune and cherry, followed by an unmistakably dry whiskey finish.

Brett IPA – 6.5%alc./vol. – This IPA underwent a 100% Brett Fermentation in oak barrels and was aged for 3 months.  Dry hopping with Galaxy, Columbus, Cascade and Chinook produces notes of apricot and rich stone fruit.  Tropical fruit and brett funk evolve as the IPA warms, leading to a dry, bitter and crisp finish.

2015 Citra Fresh-hop IPA – 5.5%alc./vol. – This year we chose to brew up a light IPA made with malted oats and fresh Citra hops. The lighter body helps accentuate the unique hop flavors from that only come from hops straight form the vine. In addition to the heaps of hops we added to the kettle, the beer was also wet-hopped in tank and then passed the beer through our own wet-hop-torpedo (essentially a giant randall) to infuse it a second time.

Schwarzbier (Black Lager) – 5.0%alc./vol. – Schwarzbiers are smooth black lagers originally from Germany. Our black lager has the clean profile you would expect from lager yeast with subtle caramel overtones and a light bitterness. It makes a refreshing alternative to the burnt bitterness of their heavier distant relatives the porters and stouts. Its clean profile makes it easy to pair with smoked meats, rich cheeses such as gouda and heavier plates.
